It was a brisk Thursday evening in November, and the hero of our tale was out with his old pal Steve at a country bar in Fishermans Wharf, San Francisco. Needing another blue mountain beverage, he stood at the bar waiting to catch the gaze of the bartender. When suddenly, he felt a light tap on the shoulder.

He turned to his left, and there she was...

Like an angel sent down from heaven (by way of Wauchula, Florida), a beautiful young lass stood before him. With a smile that could level cities, she asked "Hi, are you with those guys over there?". She pointed towards a pack of what can only be described as "tech bros" who were dancing around her friends like hyenas. Our hero racked his brain for an answer capable of sweeping her off her feet. Finally he landed on "No". The angel, satisfied he wasn't with the hyenas, extended her hand with that same earth shaking smile and responded "Cool, I'm Lauren!".

And our hero was hooked....

T'was the beautiful beginning of countless trips, dinners, and wine bar dates. Nights out partying with friends, and quiet evenings glued to the couch. Vegas, New York, and all around California. Weddings, birthdays, and becoming seamless parts of each others families. And along the way, falling madly in love.

Until it became clear to our hero, he could't live without her.
